WHAT DOES ISRAEL BY GREECE MEAN?
When Jesus was on Earth, He lived & ministered in Israel. Before The Ascension, Jesus told the disciples:
ACTS 1 : 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Therefore, The Gospel went out from Israel & has been making its way around the globe ever since.
Unfortunately, many of the areas from which The Gospel came, including Greece, are currently considered unreached people groups! With less than 33,000 of the 12 million that make up the Greek population professing Christianity – 98% of the population is unreached.
Our ultimate goal is to raise up Spirit-filled men & women of God in Greece who go out into the nations making disciples with the natural effect, as laid out in Romans 11, of Israel being touched by a jealous love for God. Their eyes & ears being opened to Jesus Christ, The Messiah. Their Hearts being made soft by the warm, Love of God.
So, the original process by which Greece & the nations received The Good News of The Gospel would, in effect, be reciprocated in these last days by God’s heart being shared with Israel By Greece!
WHAT IS ISRAEL BY GREECE?
Israel By Greece is an international missions organization dedicated to living out The Great Commission as described in MATTHEW 28 : 18 – 20:
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
