VISION STATEMENT
The focused vision of Israel By Greece Ministries is to:
– Live out our response to Matt 9:37-38 “37Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” & Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” We feel the proof of our very existence is evidence that God is provoking us to “Go & preach the gospel to all nations…” IE…We were created for this!

– Obey “The Great Commission” as it is laid out in Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We believe we’re all called to the directive in Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”

– Raise up disciples. Romans 11 tells us that because of the blinding of Israel the Gentiles have been grafted in. That “grafting in” will, in not so future days, result in a holy jealousy in the hearts of the Israelis drawing them back into covenant with God through Jesus, The Messiah. The name, “Israel By Greece”, was birthed from the calling in our hearts to reach the nation of Israel through discipling the unreached people which make up the nation of Greece. We intend to do this by partnering with other ministries called to serve, love & minister to the Greeks.

Practically, our activities will include sharing The Gospel through:
• Feeding the hungry
• Clothing the naked
• Helping addicts find a new, free life in Christ
• Loving & caring for widows, handicapped the orphans
• Advocating for the forgotten
• Loving those rescued from human trafficking back to life
• Delivering bibles
• Helping plant churches
• Discipling leaders
• Interceding
• Organizing & leading short-term mission trips.

The purpose of these activities being to raise up disciples in Greece to go reach the nations. Romans 11:25-26 “25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved.” Romans 10:14-15 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
